Tufted evening primrose (Oenothera caespitosa) is a mounding native Western US perennial with fuzzy, gray-green leaves in a basal rosette, producing large, fragrant, white flowers that open at night. This plant thrives in sunny, well-drained, rocky soils and is drought-tolerant. This night-blooming plant attracts hawk moths!
