Chokecherry – Restoration Grade (60 cubic inch)

Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana) is the hardy workhorse of our region.  During spring, it has fragrant white flowers that develop into an attractive fruit.  These “cherries” are popular with wildlife and edible but very bitter to humans, as long as you avoid the seeds which are toxic. “Restoration grade” means they are healthy and good to plant – but not pretty. Great chance to snag a healthy plant at a discount!
