The National Environmental Banking Association (NEBA) released an article June 4, 2019 titled, Montana’s Aquatic Resources at Stake – MARS. The following is our response to the article clarifying and correcting the misinformation presented. The article references the Yellowstone River Channel Migration Easement project near Forsyth and states the project proposal was not in compliance with the 2008 Mitigation Rule and was inconsistent with the published state-wide Montana Stream Mitigation Procedure.
