Lower Clark Fork
Montana Freshwater Partners completed a wetland restoration project on the Teller Wildlife Refuge, just north of Corvallis, Montana, in 2023.

Native Vegetation Restoration
The project area is located within the historic Bitterroot River floodplain in an area that had been heavily manipulated due to decades of agriculture, grazing, irrigation development, and road construction. Restoration treatments involved reconnecting and spreading water throughout the 14-acre project area, as well as planting and seeding to re-establish native wetland vegetation. The project is now developing into a diverse wetland mosaic; and the birds, frogs, and moose are enjoying the new habitat.
