Purple Prairie Clover (7 cubic inch)

Purple prairie clover (Dalea purpurea) grows in long-cylindrical flower heads made up of many small flowers that begin flowering at the base and work their way to the top.  These flowers are important to pollinators and host nitrogen-fixing bacteria that are important for soil health.

**PLEASE NOTE: Purple prairie clover will likely still be in dormancy when you pick up your plant order.  Because of this, it will look sparse (all roots, with a small tuft of above-ground vegetation).  Do not worry, this plant will leaf-out shortly after it is planted.

Please note: all plants are available for pick-up only.
